Training

The college of rehabilitation medicine was entitled to the training base for national rehabilitation medicine by Department of Health in 1994, from then on we sponsored the national training for rehabilitation technology of cerebral palsy children every year, and now we have sponsored 11. Furthermore, we invited foreign experts (Japan、England﹑Dutch and so on) to impart rehabilitation treatment technology of cerebral palsy . Through the expert’s instruction, not only have we obtained plenty of technology and experience of cerebral palsy prevention and treatment, but also nurtured over 500 therapist in 19 provinces, which have heavily improved Chinese rapid growth of rehabilitation medicine and education.

Cooperation

We have cooperated with many foreign universities、academic groups and rehabilitation associations, such as ones of Japan、England、Holland and Russia and so on, and have long term cooperative item with beihaidao、dongjingdaban、beijiuzhou, et al, in Japan. Japan established “professor Lishuchun hope association” and “Gaosongheji-Lishuchun foundation”, and have devoted to us equipment equal to 4,000,000 yuan, and educated talented person of medicine、education and research . We have introduced “Bobath Therapy”、“Occupational Therapy”、“Orthosis and Aid Equipment Therapy ”、“ADL Traning”and so on.We integrated above therapy with traditional medicine, and found scientific、feasible rehabilitation therapy for cerebral palsy children. For more than 10 years, Japan experts came to lecture, guide training; 23 persons have gone to Japan for further study and attended 6 regional and international seminars in Japan.
We have extensive international exchange. English experts came to lecture and guide, including more than 100 classes and guiding training for 70d; Five Holland experts have came to our college, and we are permitted to sent 2 persons to Holland for further study every year. Extensive international exchange promoted our rapid development, and made the technique of cerebral palsy prevention、treatment and rehabilitation predominant in our country and influenced the world to some extent. Russia have signed agreement with us which was about sending persons to our college for study and invited us to guide.
