Introduction
The Cerebral Palsy Center of Heilongjiang province established
in 1987 was the first Specialized agency for cerebral palsy prevention,
rehabilitation and research in China. On this basis, Rehabilitation
Medicine College of Jiamusi University was established in 1999,
which is the first medical rehabilitation college in China ,and
which is the characteristics College of Jiamusi University.
Many professors work in the centre ,including the chairman of Children
Rehabilitation Specialized Committee ,Chinese Association of Rehabilitation
,and the chairman of Children Rehabilitation Specialized Committee
,Chinese association of Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons(CARD).We
carry out national and
provincial importing intellectual projects，and our achievements
are the exemplar of importing intellectual projects of Heilongjiang
province .As the basis of talents training and development of the
rehabilitation medicine, awarded by China Ministry of Public Health,
the center is also establishing a long-term, stable cooperation
and communication with universities ,academic societies ,and rehabilitation
institutions with American ,British ,Japan and Holland。 The department
of rehabilitation and physical therapy is the provincial focal subject
in Heilongjiang province.
The Center with 105 licensed beds covers about 5,000 square meters.
There are department of CP ,department of nerve psychiatry ,department
of child health ,orthopaedic devices produced section, the hyperbaric
oxygen treatment room, nerve rehabilitation and rehabilitation treatment
section ,EECG room ,induced potential room ,B ultrasonic wave room
,TCD room ,ect . It specializes in the field of cerebral palsy prevention,
rehabilitation and research .We also develops various treatments
for children and adults with disabilities and special rehabilitation
needs .We have a outstanding workgroup with reasonable structure
of age , title and academic qualifications to carry out clinical
application, teaching, and scientific research , which of them 80%
professional backbones have gone abroad for training and further
education .At the same time, we invites noted experts to be as our
visiting professors, part-time professors ,and invited professors
.
More than 20 years, the center exploring and importing abroad methods,
has summed up a set of effective rehabilitation theories and techniques
to CP .The center has integrated advanced foreign rehabilitation
techniques (Bobath therapy, Vojta therapy, Brunnstrom therapy, Rood
therapy, PNF treatment technology, OT, ST, PO, Physics factor therapy,
visual music, feeling stimulated, wax treatment, etc.) ,with traditional
medicine (acupuncture, massage, acupuncture point injection, Chinese
medicine fumigation, etc.) and drug therapy for patients. The total
efficiency and normalization rate are close to international rehabilitation
levels, and maintain a leading domestic position. So far, the center
has received more than 20,000 CP children from Russia, Macau and
the national provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions(exclude
Taiwan, Hong Kong ).It's excellent service and outstanding medical
skills are quiet well known in the whole country.
The objective of Children rehabilitation(儿童康复对象): CP , autism, MBD
,allolalia ,mental retardation, learning difficulties.
The objective of adult nerve rehabilitation(成人神经康复对象): cerebral
hemorrhage、cerebral thrombosis、cerebral infarction and the limb
Motor dysfunction﹑aphasia which is caused by these disease; limb
motor dysfunction aphasia caused by cerebral trauma；palsy caused
by spinal injury; lumbar and cervical syndrome; vegetative state
；bone and joint disease and the contraction caused by soft tissue
trauma and so on
